To do so\, you’ll need to complete the classroom instruction. The course teaches the principles of road awareness and safety for prospective first-time drivers. The course will cover topics including: \n\nMinnesota road signs and what they mean.\nHow to be a safe and responsible driver.\nHow to safely operate a motor vehicle.\nMN traffic laws.\nDriving in emergency situations\, through construction zones\, and over railroad crossings.\n\nThis course will cover both the required 30 hours of classroom instruction AND the 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving training. This course gives caregivers information about how to prevent SUID\, such as laying infants on their backs\, not smoking around children\, and washing hands to prevent transmission of diseases to infants. SUID can strike without warning to usually seemingly healthy babies. Abusive Head Trauma training informs caregivers about the crime and its consequences.
