Chanhassen Dinner Theatre
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is thrilled to bring audiences a brand-new Broadway musical that Variety calls, “so full of happiness that you think your heart is about to burst!” Four fabulous fading Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. When they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town Indiana prom – and the press is involved – they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the dance on the straight and narrow, but when Emma just wants to bring her girlfriend to the prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. Now, Broadway’s brassiest are coming to join the fight and they’re ready to kick-ball-change the world! Tony-nominated for Best Musical and winner of Best Musical Score, The Prom’s joyful comedy, vibrant dance, playful book (loosely based on a true story) and shining performances will remind you of what Broadway heart and fierceness are all about.
The Anderson Bus Motorcoach will pick up at the Frazee High School parking lot located on the east side of the school at 7:00 am and will also pick up at the Perham High School parking lot at 7:20 am. Your fee includes the motorcoach bus, Chanhassen ticket, and meal at Chanhassen. For your meal, you will have the choice of an entree, bread, coffee, tea, water, and milk. Soft drinks, alcohol, appetizers, upgrades, and desserts are available for purchase at an additional fee at your table. Most people dress up–some more than others. They want guests to be comfortable, but generally, you do not see individuals wearing shorts, tennis shoes, or blue jeans. Please bring extra money for meals and drinks along the way–we will stop at a fast food restaurant on the way down for breakfast or coffee to eat/drink on the bus and at Clearwater Truck Stop for 30 minutes or so on the way back. The bus should arrive back around 9:00 pm. This trip is geared toward adult audiences. A minimum number of participants are needed to insure the event will occur. Registration deadline: March 13, 2023. Limited tickets available.
